Hi {{first_name|there}},

The second half of October means it’s time for the biggest fintech conference of the year. Hicham, JT, Navya and the team will be at Money20/20 in Las Vegas, October 18 to 21.

We’ll be previewing some upcoming releases and want to hear what’s on your mind right now: what’s slowing down onboarding, where fraud is showing up, and how agents are changing the way you work. Reply to this email and we’ll find a time to meet.

Not making the trip? Here’s what we’ve been building, including new additions to KYB product, our partnership with TinyFish, and more.

Product updates: More on the people behind a business

Three new additions to Enigma’s KYB data that work across fraud, risk, compliance and underwriting workflows:

  • Brand persons: We can now identify people linked directly to a business’s brand, alongside the officers on its registrations. Each lookup returns up to five, ranked by seniority starting with owners and executives, with name and job title.

  • Shared registrations: For each person on a registration, we can now provide a count of the other businesses they’re tied to and how many of those list them as a registered agent. A business registered in six states counts once, so the number reflects distinct businesses, not paperwork. One name across many unrelated businesses is worth a second look.

  • Brand review summaries: We now provide one review summary for the brand, aggregated across its locations and weighted toward those with more reviews. Each summary includes the first review date and last observed date.

Every person returned also carries a person ID you can use to pull the full list of businesses they’re tied to. Start with one name and see how far it goes.

Enigma joins the TinyFish Data Partner Alliance

AI agents are fast at searching the web, but most of what defines a business was never published there: who owns it, how its entities connect, whether it is still operating. When an agent can’t find the data, it keeps searching, burns time and tokens, and may still return an answer it can’t back up.

That’s why we joined TinyFish’s Data Partner Alliance as a founding partner. Fifteen data companies signed on so agents built on TinyFish can pull licensed data directly. For us, that means verified business identity, straight from Enigma, on the first call.

Notes from the field: Clay Sculpt

Thank you to our partners at Clay. We had a blast sponsoring the Sculpt Partner Day networking event. A few sessions stuck with our team:

  • How Clay built a self-learning revenue engine

  • What happens when you run out of leads

  • How the inbound company does outbound

See you in Vegas, or in your inbox when the next release ships.
